BIT Solutions launched its Government Contractor Consulting Service in 2016 under the vision of the CEO, Skip Blackburn. Skip is a lifelong expert and student of capture and government contracting, as well as creating a software platform, CaptureExec™ Software, to manage every aspect of a company’s business development repeatable process. As the company grew into two distinct divisions, CaptureExec Software and Consulting Services, we saw a need in the government contracting space to bring more focus to, and invest more heavily in, our consulting services.
To accomplish that, BIT Solutions is spinning off its Consulting Division to create a new company called GovCon Bids, LLC. Tony Guthrie will lead the new company as CEO, with all his expertise and experience, to increase and enhance the focus on providing value-added content, management, and strategic planning for Government Contracting companies to amplify their growth. GovCon Bids will support both Pre-B&P and B&P requirements with experts from around the country to add value to our customers.

Tony Guthrie

CEO

Tony Guthrie serves as partner and Chief Executive Officer at GovCon Bids LLC. Guthrie leads development and implementation of GCB’s strategic vision: to be the premier partner for federal clients seeking operational, technical, and professional support services inside and outside the continental United States, particularly for international development. GCB currently works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) supporting diverse programs focused on economic growth, workforce development, humanitarian assistance, peace and conflict resolution, refugee support, inclusive development, and global health, among others.

Guthrie applies insights from 20 years in sales and operations management to lead GCB identify and win federal contracts that help the company achieve its goals for rapid, sustainable growth. He focuses on business development, capture management and processes, sales operations, and forward-thinking collaboration to set GCB and its partners up for immediate and long-term success.

Skip Blackburn

CFO & Head of Contracts

Skip Blackburn serves as Partner and COO at GovCon Bids, LLC. Skip has experience as the CEO of BIT Solutions, LLC. Since BIT Solutions’ reinvention in 2012, he has led BIT Solutions through the startup phase, the design & development process, and the sales and marketing efforts.

With a deep understanding of the federal government procurement process, Kronfli is playing a key role in helping several companies secure and deliver international development contracts with various federal government clients.

Tony Kronfli

Chief Operating Officer

Tony Kronfli serves as partner and Chief Operations Officer at GovCon Bids LLC. Kronfli is a seasoned management executive and a solutions architect with thirty years of experience managing and implementing private sector, international development, nonprofit, relief programs in conflict and post conflict regions. He led programs with DOS, ECHO, DFID, SIDA and UN in the United States, Middle East & North Africa, Central & South East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

With a deep understanding of the federal government procurement process, Kronfli is playing a key role in helping several companies secure and deliver international development contracts with various federal government clients.

Drew Blackburn

Chief Technical Officer

Drew Blackburn serves as Partner and CTO at GovCon Bids, LLC. He has experience in leading BIT Solutions’ development team for every aspect of the capture management software and database integration process. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Spencer Hedden

Chief People Officer

Spencer Hedden serves as partner and Chief People Officer at GovCon Bids LLC. Spencer is a talented and accomplished technical, account manager, business developer, and proposal professional with an extensive background in sales, sales process, software application, and delivery. Proven ability to direct technical and business teams, coordinate consultants, augment staff, acquire resources, and manage projects and resources experience leading the development and implementation of technology-driven systems.

Adept at directing product launches, application design, requirements analysis and traceability, content management, quality assurance, configuration management, and business integration. outstanding presentation, leadership, and communication skills.
